Kind of Case I Would Like
The Boston Red Sox are suing former Red Sox 1st baseman Doug Mientkiewicz for ownership of the World Series ending ball from 2004 after Mientkiewicz allowed the team to display the ball during the trophy tour of New England... Rich people willing to spend a great deal of money to determine possession of a baseball (bailment issues, "possession is 9/10ths of the law", and don't forget that MLB and the St. Louis Cardinals may have claim to ownership!). Just look at how long and expensive the Barry Bond 73rd Home Run ball case was; this case could dwarf that!! Oh well, back to Finals.
