has anyone seen the ads for the new stewart offshoot, the colbert report? slogans like "it's french, bitches" just made me cry.
which gives me an idea for a new challenge: to show the professoriat how pervasive our blog readership is, i suggest we all attempt to work the word "trustigious" into our papers and exams...
just a thought (and an attempt to take a leap out of negativity).

We had this class in college where we examined the conditions of certain regions of the world and why they developed in certain ways. We had a late night study session one night and someone said we should say that giraffes were the reason why Africa never became an industrial nation. It was pretty ridiculous, but 35 of us put that on our exams...enough to prompt our professor to lecture the class on something "some of us misconstrued from the text."
He kills me. I love the Daily Show. Moop Fiance and I were debating how good the off-shoot would be, but as he pointed out "Wouldn't you rather watch the last few minutes of that before the Daily Show instead of Reno 911?" That's hard to argue with.
But will Colbert still be on the Daily Show?
Here's a link, btw:
Colbert Report Preview
He is still head writer as far as I know, so even if not on-screen his influence will be there!
