And to my fellow 2Ls and the 3Ls, anybody know the policy on curves being higher than 84? I've heard this many times... here's to hoping! though a higher gpa won't improve my class rank if everybody is curved higher...

I miss Hill and his curve fiascoes.
Read "Rules of the Law School." Essentially, in sectioned classes (ones in which more than one class is offered within the academic year) and in classes having more than 18 students, the professor must grade on a curve, and the curve must be set to 84, plus or minus 1 point, or else must persuade the Dean's office of an exceedingly good reason for departing from the curve. In non-sectioned classes having fewer than 18 students, there is a firm 'unwritten rule' that the curve may be set as high as 88, but no higher.
Another way to get a feel for the curves is to peek into the grade reports book available at the circulation desk in the library. This book shows the grade distributions for every course offered in the last academic year.

if you have never had Old Chicago's, try it. I love it but others don't.
For good, authentic Italian-style pizza, try the pizza by the slice at the Whole Foods on Pearl (2905 Pearl). The other Whole Foods/Wild Oats also have pizza by the slice, but this is the only one that has a wood-burning oven, and uses authentic Italian-style thin crust.
Old chicago has a good atmosphere and good drink specials, but the pizza tastes like crap! Cosmos is vice-versa, but good for delivery.
Baked in Boulder is great. It is located just north of Boulder High School on 15th Street
Two words: Radda Tratoria. It's owned by the same folks that own Mateo, and their pizza is orgasmic.

The only time that curves matter are when you have a class with Campos ...
Picnic tables? They are quickly destroyed by undergrads stealing them for snowboard rails in the winter. Just get a blanket.
