When the class period is over and you still have a question, please, for the love of God, do not raise your hand. Such an approach extends the class period beyond its allotted time and the rest of us are trapped while the professor answers. Instead, wait for everyone to begin getting up and vacating the room and then approach the professor with your query. This way you can get your question answered and the rest of the class won't hate you.

Hear Hear!! Everytime it has happened in one of my classes it is a three part questions with two sub parts!
